    We, Organizing Committee of KSBMB International Conference, collect and use personal information for the following purposes described below.

    1. Items of Personal Information Collected

    • Required Information: Country, full name, position, phone number, title, organization, department, division, participant’s category, mailing address, mobile phone number, email address, password, attendance of social programs and optional programs, visiting time of conference, photos
    • Optional Information: Postal code, credit card information, visiting time of conference, doctors’ licenses and affiliated doctors (only for Korean medical license holders)
    • Information collected during service use or processing: Service usage record, connection log, cookies, IP address, etc.

    2. Method of Collection

    • Tools which collect generated information
    • Website, application form, fax, telephone, email, barcode or QR system, visitor’s book
    • Information provided by cooperative partners and organizations

    3. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

    The Organizing Committee of the KSBMB International Conference collects personal information for the following purposes.

    • Identification of registrants for confirmation or modification of registration details, and delivery of notifications
    • Provision of information or promotion of the congress via phone, SMS, email, and DM
    • Selection of award winners and confirmation of participation in organizer events
    • Confirmation of training for maintaining medical certificates (Korean doctors only)
    • Visiting exhibitions, workshops, or advertising companies, event applications, and marketing use
    • Photography: Photographs may be taken on-site during the event, conference, or meeting and used for record-keeping purposes, including use on the official website. If a user’s image appears in circulated photographs for the above purposes, the user has the right to request removal or deletion of such photographs by contacting ksbmb@ksbmb.or.kr.

    Personal information will not be used for purposes other than providing services. If the purpose of use is changed, the Organizing Committee of the KSBMB Conference will take necessary measures, such as obtaining user consent, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

    Personal information related to the KSBMB Conference shall not be used for purposes other than achieving the stated purposes, nor provided to third parties without the user’s consent.

    4. Duration of Retention and Use of Personal Information

    Personal information is retained and used from the date the user first signs up until the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled. Personal information will be immediately deleted upon withdrawal from membership, withdrawal of consent, achievement of the purpose of use, or expiration of the retention period.

    However, the following information is retained for the periods specified below:

    • For handling participant requests: 30 days after withdrawal
    • For records of registration application or withdrawal: Until the KSBMB goes out of business
    • Transfer of personal information to third parties: Until 1 year after the conference (Exception: Education records of the Korean Medical Association are retained for up to 3 years)

    5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

    The Organizing Committee of the KSBMB International Conference outsources personal information processing to service providers.

    Outsourcing is conducted through formal written agreements in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, which include provisions on: prohibition of processing personal information for purposes other than the outsourced purpose, technical and managerial safeguards, restrictions on re-outsourcing, inspection and supervision of service providers, and liability for damages.

    The Organizing Committee supervises service providers to ensure that personal information is processed safely.

    • 학술대회 사전등록일시부터 본 학회 폐업 시까지
    • 참가자의 철회 요청 시: 요청일로부터 30일 이내 삭제
    • 제3자 제공 정보: 첫 등록 작성 시기부터 학술대회 종료 후 1년간 (예외: 대한의사협회 연수평점 정보는 3년)

    가. 개인정보 처리업무 위탁

    • 위탁받는 자(수탁자): 메드소프트, 위드인
    • 위탁하는 업무의 내용: 온라인 회원정보 관리
    • 위탁기간: 운영계약 완료 시까지

    나. 위탁계약 시 보호조치

    위탁계약 체결 시 개인정보 보호법 제25조에 따라 위탁업무 수행 목적 외 개인정보 처리 금지, 기술적·관리적 보호조치, 재위탁 제한, 수탁자에 대한 관리·감독, 손해배상 등 책임에 관한 사항을 계약서 등 문서에 명시하고 있으며, 수탁자가 개인정보를 안전하게 처리하는지를 감독하고 있습니다.

    위탁업무의 내용이나 수탁자가 변경될 경우에는 지체 없이 본 개인정보 처리방침을 통하여 공개하도록 하겠습니다.

    6. 동의 거부권 등에 대한 고지

    본 개인정보(필수정보) 제공에 대한 동의를 거부할 수 있으며, 이 경우 학술대회 등록에 제한이 있을 수 있습니다.
